Garrison FM Drivetime

How would you like to join an Award Winning Radio station?

We are looking for a drive-time presenter for our network show from our Headquarters at Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire.

You will have presented a full-time daily show on either BBC or Commercial Radio stations (please note we mean full scale ILR not CR or Student). You will work across six days and also head up our production for in-house Army and local promos as well as commercial production. You will be a multi skilled individual, able to create some high standard ads and relate to your audience on air each day when playing today's music back to the early 80's. Flexibility and an enthusiasm for our audience of soldiers and their families is key.

You will be conversant with:

At least one major playout system
Adobe Audition
Writing creative ads and promos
Facebook, Twitter and blogs

This year members of our team have visited Afghanistan (twice), Kenya and Germany to do radio shows. So what are you waiting for?

Send a word.doc cv and covering email explaining why you want to work for us, along with an mp3 demo of no more than 5 minutes to jobs@garrisonfm.com.

If you have also worked for or are working for another military broadcaster, we would be delighted to hear from you too.

Find out more about us online and listen at GarrisonFM.com. Oh--- and take a look on a map to see where we are in the UK's biggest county where we are Station of the Year.
