He's asked the Members of Parliament to do what they can in their constituencies to encourage more people to join the UK's Reserve Forces. Speaking in the House Of Commons, David Cameron said many more recruits were needed to fulfil the quota that will be required for the increase in size of the reserves

Around a hundred British troops teamed up with 200 soldiers from the 2nd Kandak of the Afghan National Army and patrolmen from the Afghan National Police to drive the insurgency from Kopak, in the Nahr-e Saraj district

Colchester troops raise money to help their injured colleagues
British soldiers from Colchester have been praised for raising a significant amount of money, which will go towards the Garrison's new Personnel Recovery and Assessment Centre and will ultimately help their injured Army colleagues

Armed Forces Reservists are called for Olympic duty
The Government has announced that to assist with the safety and security of the London 2012 Olympic And Paralympic Games, the Armed Forces will contribute up to 2,100 members of the reserve forces as part of the total strength of 13,500 military personnel

The Imperial War Museum wants your help, if you've served in Afghanistan
It wants to find new information and exhibits for its "War Story" exhibition, to collect material relating to the war in Afghanistan and tell the story of Op Herrick from the perspective of British service personnel and their families
